Pocket guide to student housing in Madrid
Madrid is a leading student destination, known for universities, research institutions, Spanish-language study and a vibrant cultural scene. It attracts undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as international students and Erasmus or exchange participants. Finding housing can be challenging because availability is limited in popular neighbourhoods, lease requirements may be complex, and arranging a move from abroad can be difficult. Private student housing in Madrid and fully furnished student apartments in Madrid offer a practical way to secure a reliable rental before arrival.
Blueground homes provide fully furnished accommodation that is ready for move-in, with flexible lease lengths that can suit academic terms, Erasmus placements and longer study periods. Properties are located in convenient neighbourhoods with access to universities, metro stations and other public transport, helping students travel around Madrid. Each home typically includes a comfortable study area and high-speed internet, while selected layouts can support sharing with a flatmate. Depending on the property and booking terms, utilities and other household services may be included, making these student apartments in Madrid easier to manage than an unfurnished rental.
