Pocket guide to student housing in Copenhagen
Copenhagen is a leading student destination known for respected universities, design, sustainability and a lively cultural scene. It attracts undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as international, Erasmus and exchange students from across Europe and beyond. Finding housing can be challenging because availability is limited, lease requirements vary and students moving from abroad may need a home before arriving. Fully furnished private student housing and reliable rental options make it easier to secure a ready-to-live-in home in Copenhagen without arranging furniture or utilities from overseas.
Blueground homes provide a practical option for student stays, with furnished living spaces, dedicated areas for study and high-speed internet. Flexible lease lengths can suit academic terms, Erasmus placements and exchange programmes, while move-in-ready apartments reduce the work involved in relocating. Properties are located with access to universities, public transport, shops and everyday services, and some homes may suit students sharing accommodation. Clear rental terms and, where applicable, bills-included arrangements can also make budgeting simpler than managing several separate household contracts.
