Pocket guide to student housing in Cape Town
Cape Town is a popular student destination known for leading universities, research institutions, diverse cultural life, and its coastal setting. It attracts undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as international, Erasmus, and exchange students. Finding housing can be challenging because availability is limited, lease requirements may be complex, and relocating from abroad often makes viewings and paperwork difficult. Private student housing and student apartments in Cape Town offer a more straightforward option for students seeking reliable, fully furnished rentals.
Blueground homes provide move-in-ready student accommodation in Cape Town, with furniture, essential household items, and high-speed internet included for a practical start. Flexible lease lengths can suit term-time stays, longer academic programmes, or Erasmus and exchange placements without requiring students to furnish a home themselves. Properties may offer dedicated study areas, convenient access to public transport and university districts, and layouts suitable for sharing. This makes Blueground a useful option for students looking for well-equipped, bills-included rentals with a clear booking process.
